The pump body and the pump cover form the outer pump casing structure, and the impeller, volute liner, throat bush and FPL plate bolt form the inner pump casing structure. The outer casing structure of the slurry pump is made of gray iron, ductile iron, and cast steel. The inner casing structure is also called the flow-through component of the pump. There are also three manufacturing materials, namely KMTBCr26, Cr15Mo3 and rubber.
The inner pump casing structure of the slurry pump is also the over-current part, which accounts for a high proportion of the core manufacturing cost of pump spare parts, which means that it represents the core quality level of the slurry pump, which is the most important factor when choosing a slurry pump. Among the manufacturing materials of the overflow parts of pump spare parts, KMTBCr26 metal has fine grains, good wear resistance and high cost performance. At present, 70% of the overflow parts of slurry pumps are made of this material. Although the overcurrent parts made of Cr15Mo3 material have higher wear resistance and better hardness, and their service life can reach 1.5 times that of KMTBCr26, their cost is twice as high as that of KMTBCr26, so the cost performance is lower and the scope of use is small. Rubber has better corrosion resistance among the three manufacturing materials. When the medium contains smooth solid particles, no sharp corners, and the lift of the slurry pump does not exceed 40 meters, it is suitable to choose the overflow parts made of rubber.
